Omar Said joined ALG in May 2021 as an associate with a practice in criminal, administrative, and constitutional law.
While in law school Omar worked with the Criminal Law Division of Downtown Legal Services. He also spent a summer with the International Human Rights Program in Sierra Leone, where he worked on justice and law reform programs.
Omar earned his law degree and a B.A. in History and Political Science from the University of Toronto. During law school, Omar was recognized as a top oralist in the Callaghan Moot.
Omar was called to the bar in 2021 and is a member of the Criminal Lawyers’ Association. Omar articled with ALG in 2020-2021.
