Omar’s practice focuses on criminal and administrative law.

Omar knew when he was in the eighth grade he would eventually be a criminal lawyer. Omar articled with Addario Law Group LLP before joining the firm in 2021. While in law school he got his first experience in court while working at the Criminal Law Division of Downtown Legal Services. He also spent a summer with the International Human Rights Program in Sierra Leone, where he worked on justice and law reform programs.

Omar earned his law degree and a B.A. in History and Political Science from the University of Toronto. During law school, Omar was recognized as a top oralist in the Callaghan Moot. Omar is creative, hard-working and attentive.

Omar was called to the bar in 2021 and is a member of the Criminal Lawyers’ Association.
