NEW DATE: LYNDA MORGAN TO CHAIR AND SPEAK AT NATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON TECH CRIME AND ELECTRONIC EVIDENCE ON SEPTEMBER 14, 2020

ALG’s Lynda Morgan will serve as faculty co-chair for Osgoode Professional Development’s 13th National Symposium on Tech Crime and E-Evidence. The symposium takes place online on September 14, 2020. Lynda will also present on a panel on search and seizure law as part of the symposium. Lynda will join Crown and defence counsel, law enforcement, judges, and forensic experts for a day-long event focused on complex issues facing those who investigate, prosecute, and defend cases in the “wild west” of tech crime.

The symposium will cover a range of tech crime and evidence topics, including:

  • Search and seizure, with a deep dive into the latest top SCC cases and other major court decisions
  • Managing the minefield of increasingly complex digital investigations
  • Getting your evidence introduced, confirming authentication, and meeting admissibility challenges
  • Gathering and sharing digital evidence across borders
