Lynda Morgan and Samara Secter Join ALG Partnership

ALG is pleased to announce that Lynda Morgan and Samara Secter have joined the partnership. Lynda and Samara help to lead ALG's work in criminal, constitutional, administrative, and regulatory law. They have active trial and appeal practices. 

Prior to joining ALG, Lynda spent nine years at a top boutique firm in Toronto where she focused on a practice of mixed regulatory and criminal law. Lynda has also gained experience on the other side of the courtroom, acting as an Assistant Crown Attorney for the Guns & Gangs Unit of the Ministry of the Attorney General. Lynda earned her law degree from the University of Ottawa, where she graduated fifth in her class and earned awards including prizes for highest standing in advanced criminal procedure and criminal law and procedure.  She has a B.A.H. in History from Queen’s University.

Samara honed her skills as an associate at one of Toronto’s top corporate and commercial litigation boutiques. She developed her interest in criminal and administrative law while clerking for Justice Louis LeBel at the Supreme Court of Canada. Samara earned her law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School, where she graduated with the Silver Medal and numerous class prizes including awards in Constitutional Law and Criminal Procedure. She has a B.A. in History from the University of British Columbia, where she was the valedictorian.

Lynda and Samara are active in the legal community. They frequently speak on panels and contribute articles to legal publications. They are respected by their peers as mentors and experts in their fields.
