ALG’s Megan Savard appeared on TVO’s The Agenda with Steve Paikin in May 2017 to discuss the Supreme Court’s 2016 decision in R. v. Jordan. Jordan is the leading case on unreasonable delay under section 11(b) of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Megan was counsel for the intervener the Criminal Lawyers’ Association in R. v. Cody, the Supreme Court’s next case on delay after Jordan.
