FRANK SPEAKS AT CANADA’S LARGEST CRIMINAL LAW CONFERENCE

In a Point/Counterpoint debate, he argued that the law as it currently stands is not doing enough to protect Canadians’ privacy. Frank also spoke about how counsel and courts can assist unrepresented defendants – an increasing problem in the criminal justice system. Frank outlined tactical and creative ways to approach Rowbotham and Fisher applications and discussed emerging issues respecting the court’s powers in appointing amicus.
