FRANK ADDARIO AND SAMARA SECTER TO INTERVENE AT SUPREME COURT OF CANADA ON FEDERALISM CASE

Frank Addario and Samara Secter are counsel to an intervener at the Supreme Court of Canada in a case that raises important questions about the boundaries between federal and provincial jurisdiction. The case, Canadian Coalition for Genetic Fairness v. Attorney General of Quebec, addresses the question of whether Quebec’s Genetic Non-Discrimination Act was beyond the power of a provincial legislature under Canada’s constitution. Frank and Samara are representing the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

The hearing will take place October 10, 2019 in Ottawa. The webcast will be available here.
