ALG’S FRANK ADDARIO FEATURED IN TORONTO STAR ARTICLE ON ADDRESSING VACCINE HESITANCY IN CUSTODY

ALG’s Frank Addario is featured in a May 30 article in the Toronto Star on an initiative to address COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy in provincial correctional facilities. Frank visited the Toronto South Detention Centre with Dr. Gary Bloch of St. Michael’s Hospital and colleagues from the Criminal Lawyers’ Association and the John Howard Society. The visit was an opportunity to speak with people in custody about the importance of getting vaccinated and misconceptions and other reasons for hesitancy. Frank also appeared in a COVID vaccine education video produced by the CLA that will play in provincial correctional facilities.
