SAMARA SECTER ARGUES FOR PRIVACY RIGHTS AT THE SUPREME COURT

Samara Secter speaks to the Law Times about the upcoming Supreme Court of Canada case R. v. Le. Samara, along with Emily Lam, represents Mr. Le and says the SCC will have to grapple with the question whether Charter rights mean as much to marginalized people because “this case revolves around racialized youth in a social housing context” and “whether an invited guest in a backyard gathering has a reasonable expectation of privacy”.
