ALG’s Lynda Morgan and Samara Secter are speakers at the upcoming 14th National Symposium on Tech Crime and Electronic Evidence on October 1, 2021. Lynda is a co-chair of the event, which is presented by Osgoode Hall Law School Professional Development. The faculty includes defence counsel, prosecutors with the federal and provincial Crowns, law enforcement, and technical experts.
Lynda and Samara will speak on a panel of Crown and defence counsel to provide an update on recent search and seizure case law from the Supreme Court of Canada and provincial courts of appeal. Lynda will also be a panelist for a session on international search and seizure law.
